Elicent REC Smart Plus - Mechanical Ventilation Unit Controlled with Radio Control

Elicent REC Smart Plus is a decentralized air extraction and introduction unit with heat recovery equipped with radio control and designed for the exchange and recirculation of the air inside environments and homes without heat loss which would otherwise occur with the opening of windows. Elicent REC Smart+ in fact capable of recovering 75% of the heat up to a maximum temperature of 50°C, it is the perfect solution for maintaining a healthy environment while saving on heating and is an excellent alternative to the impossibility of installing a centralized system .

Thanks to the installation of a Controlled Mechanical Ventilation Unit (VMC) with heat recovery equipped with a very high efficiency filtering system with double HEPA + G4 filter, a healthy microclimate is created, eliminating up to 99.5% of dangerous particles in the air and 100% of pollen. Furthermore, thanks to the maintenance of heat inside the room in which the air is recirculated, heating and air conditioning costs are significantly reduced.

Functional specifications

Radio Control

Elicent REC Smart Plus is equipped with a radio remote control for control including the selection of night modes and that of extraction only. These functions are also indicated between 2 different lights placed on the VMC unit together with an indicator of any anomalies.
The following functions can be managed using the remote control:

• On/Off
• Speed adjustment and relative air flow
• SLEEP mode (for extra silent operation at minimum speed during the night
• TIMER mode (adjustable from 0 to 30 minutes designed to delay automatic shutdown of maximum speed)

Installation

The installation of Elicent REC Smart + takes place through a simple drilling of the wall with a diameter of Ø 100 mm , without requiring complex masonry work. Thanks to an umbrella-like closing and opening system placed on the external tube, it is possible to install the device easily without the need for scaffolding or external interventions, even for buildings located on upper floors. The cap is connected to a cable which, through a system, closes it and makes it pass inside the tube, to then reposition it without complications.

Air circulation system

Taking advantage of direct access to the outside, Elicent REC Smart+ allows the exchange of polluted air inside a room with the outside air , passing the new air through two highly efficient HEPA + G4 filters. While recirculating the air, the heat is kept inside the room with a thermal efficiency of 75% . This method avoids opening windows, significantly reducing heating costs and the introduction of polluted outside air. The result is a healthy and purified environment, in which at least 98% of PM2.5 particles, 95.5% of PM10 particles and 100% of pollen are eliminated.

Simple maintenance

This decentralized CMV ventilation system effectively solves humidity and condensation problems , making it the ideal option for renovations or new builds without a centralized ventilation system. The maintenance of Elicent REC Smart is simple and requires only a few operations: the filters can be washed, even in the dishwasher, and replaced when necessary. The exchanger can be easily inspected and removed for easy cleaning.

Technical specifications

Elicent REC Smart Plus has wall installation with direct expulsion and can be installed both vertically and horizontally and can be rotated 360° depending on the available spaces. Its flow rate is 27/53 m³/h and it is equipped with an EC motor , i.e. a highly energy efficient motor that combines the performance of an electric motor and a traditional one, thus offering very low consumption ranging from only 8 to a maximum of 28 W .

It is an internal ventilation system suitable for any room up to 40 m² and particularly suitable for:

• bathrooms
• kitchens
• particularly humid environments

Speed regulation and humidistat

Elicent REC Smart Plus is designed for 24h continuous operation at minimum speed. The passage to the maximum speed takes place through the selection of the mode on the radio remote control for the remote control supplied. These models are in fact equipped with the MHY Smart function which progressively increases the speed according to the humidity rate detected by the built-in humidistat. When the detected humidity level returns within the pre-set margins (adjustable between 40% and 90% relative humidity) the appliance automatically switches to minimum speed.

BOOST function

The BOOST function consists of the maximum speed function of the VMC unit. This function generally has a maximum duration of 30 minutes before the minimum speed is reactivated but can be managed via remote control which allows you to set a timer ranging from 0 to 30 minutes which extends its operation when needed.

By-pass function

Equipped with a by-pass function, this decentralized ventilation unit is able to provide comfort in every season by exploiting only the air filter function in the summer and hot periods, canceling the heat retention and purifying the incoming air by replacing it with the polluted one internal.
