Abac Formula I and Abac Formula IE - Variable Speed Compressor
The Abac Formula I and Abac Formula IE compressor is an inverter compressor for industrial use. The rational positioning of the components, including air filters , oil filters and belts, allows quick and safe maintenance . The maintenance kit ensures reliable and efficient operation.
Robust screw compressor , for intensive industrial use. Abac Formula in the Formula I and Formula IE versions differ from fixed speed compressor models due to the presence of an inverter system , which allows the engine speed to be varied based on compressed air consumption .
Abac Formula features efficient cooling for a powerful compressor: with fan and coolers , the cooling of this screw compressor is efficient even in the most difficult working conditions .

The Infologic2 / Airlogic2 controllers provide easy access to the menus and all key performance indicators needed to drive your operation. It has a control interface to guide the operation, with remote control for the possibility of controlling up to 6 compressors . Scheduled routine maintenance , fault log and other functions.
Powerful cooling system
A radial fan is keyed onto the crankshaft to ensure more efficient cooling of the oil and air . An independent engine cooling system ensures ideal temperatures for its operation even in extreme conditions.
New generation screw group
The new generation of these screw units guarantees great efficiency in terms of air output, great solidity and notable reliability .
How an inverter compressor works
In a variable speed compressor such as Abac Formula I and Abac Formula IE the variable speed curve is different thanks to the regulation of the speed of the screw unit based on the air demand and the consequent production of only the quantity necessary for the specific job. This happens thanks to a pressure sensor that reports the pressure value to the controller which, in turn, sends a signal to the inverter with information on the situation. The inverter is used to adjust the motor speed based on the pressure settings .
Advantages of variable speed compressor
Gradual start-up
In Abac Formula compressors it reduces the peak current absorption necessary for starting, protecting the motor and reducing energy consumption.
Constant air pressure
By maintaining a constant starting pressure Abac Formula I and Abac Formula IE avoid machine unloading operations with consequent waste of energy.
High efficiency motor
These compressors have greater energy efficiency with the use of IE3 motors .
Silent working environment
Abac Formula is equipped with excellent insulation which guarantees reduced noise levels and allows the machinery to be positioned close to the workplace without disturbing the surrounding environment.
