Two-stage compressor for high pressure

Abac B7000 500 FT10 FFO in the 270 and 500 L versions is a two-stage compressor. Let's now see, briefly, the operation of a double compression machine. With each rotation of the shaft the air passes from atmospheric pressure to an intermediate pressure ( I stage ), to be transferred into a second smaller cylinder ( II stage ) before being stored in the tank. The cast iron cylinder ensures a longer life for the Abac compressor. This double compression ensures greater performance , at higher operating pressure .

Professional compressor: high performance

The B7000 pumping unit is connected to the Abac compressor motor through the belt. The design of the belt cover improves the flow of cooled air on the pumping unit of the Abac B7000 500 FT10 FFO compressor and on the version of the same with YD star-delta start .

Finned cooler

This chiller design is designed to deliver lower temperature compressed air.

Oil lubricated compressor

Abac oil-lubricated compressors use a special lubricating oil to reduce friction between moving parts and prevent wear .

Dryer powered separately at 230 V

• Direct start : Direct start is simple, requiring only a contactor and overload protection . The starting current is high, equal to 6-10 times the rated motor and a high starting torque.
• YD star-delta starting: Star / delta starting is used to limit the inrush current . The starter motor consists of three contactors, an overload protection and a timer. The motor is started with star connection and after reaching 90% of the nominal value .
