Munters EM52 - Industrial Air Extractor
Munters EM52 Industrial Air Extractor is ideal when a high flow rate is required. The fan with an exclusive design is self- cleaning and allows for maximum efficiency. The shell of the Munters EM52 air extractor and the air conveyor (venturi) are made of sturdy galvanized steel sheet. The six-blade fan is statically and dynamically balanced to minimize vibration and noise. Munters EM52 industrial air extractor is equipped with a fan made of stainless steel . For improved aerodynamic efficiency, the Munters EM52 air extractor was developed by the Munters Italy research and development laboratory. The laboratory test chamber was constructed in accordance with ANSI / AMCA 210-85 standards. The construction details and the tightness of the chamber of the Munters EM52 extractor have been verified by the staff of the BESS Lab of the Faculty of Agricultural Engineering of the University of Illinois - USA.
In the Munters EM52 industrial air extractor the fan is fixed to a large central pulley integral with a double row ball bearing and double shielded water jet with a new and improved design. The belt drive ensures a low rotation speed of the fan to achieve maximum efficiency and reduce energy consumption as well as noise.
The galvanized steel damper ensures greater resistance than plastic and aluminum. When the fan is not in operation, the damper is absolutely hermetic in order to prevent any air drafts. The centrifugal opening system (patented) prevents the damper from accidentally closing during the operation of the fan and ensures maximum efficiency by keeping it always open and stable. Furthermore, the shutter does not require periodic cleaning as the dust does not affect its opening and closing movement. All plastic parts of the Munters EM52 extractor are made of UV resistant black acetal material. The special housing reduces stress on the motor bearings and the new high-efficiency electric motor ensures greater reliability and lower energy consumption. The grille is fixed by means of special anti-vibration plastic supports.

Fields of Application
