Karcher IB 10/8 L2P Ice Blaster with Integrated Dry Ice Production

Karcher IB 10/8 L2P is the first cryogenic sandblasting machine in the world capable of producing dry ice completely autonomously, combining in a single machine everything that previously required several large systems.

This Ice Blaster, thanks to an innovative process, independently produces the dry ice it needs through the processing of liquid CO₂ . It is an autonomous cryogenic sandblasting machine for small cleaning operations which allows you to avoid all the complexity of using a compressor and dryer at the same time and the cumbersome logistics of purchasing dry ice.

The Ice Blaster IB 10/8 L2P therefore combines in a single compact machine what normally requires a complex set of bulky and difficult to move equipment, facilitating the short-term cleaning of small surfaces .

Karcher IB 10/8 L2P produces ice pallets only when necessary in complete autonomy, fully retaining all the advantages of dry ice.

The long conservation of liquid CO₂ inside the cylinders allows you to keep a large supply without resorting to continuous supplies of dry ice, thus eliminating the worry of advance ice orders.

This Cryogenic Sandblasting machine is designed for short-term cleaning applications that do not require long-term use of the machine and is able to offer gentle cleaning even in the presence of complex contours such as grooves, pads or grooves and in case of contamination heavy like burnt encrustations.
IB 10/8 L2P avoids abrasive residues surprisingly reliably.

Karcher IB 10/8 L2P is also recommended for cleaning electrical components and control elements as dry ice does not compromise their functioning.

The amount of dry ice output is adjustable with a button while the CO₂ is discharged via the exhaust pipe allowing for safe handling.

Karcher IB 10/8 L2P combines the complexity of a dry ice production machine with a cryogenic sandblaster in a single machine with the result of a compact Ice Blaster that is easy to store thanks to the possibility of separating all the components . Furthermore, the wheels with which it is equipped together with the handles allow safe mobility and transport.

Functional specifications

The dry ice pellets at -70°C produced by the Karcher IB 10/8 L2P hit the surface to be cleaned and remove the dirt by generating a thermal stress between the dirt and the object to be cleaned which contributes to the loosening of the dirt.

Furthermore, when the dry ice impacts the surface to be treated it immediately transforms into gaseous carbon dioxide, thus occupying 700 times its own volume and lifting and sweeping away the dirt .

The gun included with this Ice Blaster is ergonomic and features an ice on/off switch positioned directly on it. Thanks to the quick couplings with which this gun is equipped, changing the nozzles is also quick and easy.
The pistol is equipped with a self-locking trigger .

An ultra plus is given by the presence of an easy-to-understand display which shows jet pressure, operating hours and service time as well as giving the possibility of regulating the quantity of dry ice with a single button. This cryogenic sandblaster is also equipped with an integrated assistance system .

Karcher IB 10/8 L2P is easy to transport and maneuver thanks to the presence of wheels and handles.
