Air Circulator

Munters EDC18GHp and Munters EDC24GHp air circulators are designed to eliminate stratified heat, humidity and stagnant air. The fan with an exclusive design they are equipped with is self-cleaning and, together with the flow rectifiers, allows for maximum efficiency .

The body of the Munters EDC18GHp and EDC24GHp air circulators is circular and the flow rectifiers are made of sturdy galvanized steel sheet. The six-blade fan is statically and dynamically balanced to minimize vibration and noise. The special hooks on the body allow you to easily fix the circulator.

The uniform air circulation guaranteed by the circulators helps prevent condensation and helps prevent diseases and improves crop transpiration.

For improved aerodynamic efficiency, the air circulator was developed by the Munters Italia research and development laboratory. The laboratory test chamber was built in compliance with ANSI / AMCA 210-85 standards Figure 15. The construction details and the tightness of the chamber were verified by the staff of the BESS Lab of the Faculty of Agricultural Engineering of the University of Illinois - USA.

In agriculture, corrosion is usually caused by a combination of many factors such as pH, high humidity levels, frequent contact with water, harsh manure chemicals or disinfectants, etc. The industry is also constantly evolving and this could have surprising side effects: new agricultural chemicals or feed additives could do wonders for plant health, but they would also increase metal corrosion from fans.

To offer an effective remedy for corrosion problems, Munters switched to using a new material, called Munters Protect , which offers extremely high protection against corrosion . It consists of a coating made of zinc, aluminum and magnesium and offers the best corrosion resistance performance, up to 10 times better than galvanized steel .

Fields of Application
